FTP Tutorial
For Delphi webspace

You'll find a free web-based FTP (File Transfer Program) here: http://www.web2ftp.com/. You will need to complete three fields in the page to log into your Delphi web space.  The Delphi server name is ftp://ftp.delphiforums.com/.  Enter your Delphi name and password, and push login.

That will bring you to the second page of the ftp program, which looks like this:

VERY IMPORTANT:  You need to be INSIDE the web directory.  Highlight web/ and click on change directory.  If you already have files saved to your Delphi space, they will be listed where this picture shows the word web

Once you've done that, you may begin uploading files to your Delphi account.

Use the browse buttons to find the files you want to upload, then push upload.  The files will appear to the left, where you saw the word web before.

Once you've uploaded all files, be sure to log out.  You'll find what you uploaded by entering the following:

http://people.delphiforums.com/your_user_name/filename.htm

For example, this page is found at:

http://people.delphiforums.com/leilanih1/tutorial.htm

The first picture is:

http://people.delphiforums.com/leilanih1/tut_ftp1.jpg.

To find your uploads, you'll replace my user name with yours, and my file names with yours.  You can save a whole page on your word processor and upload it as a web page, if you save it in web-page (html) format - but if you want the pictures to show, you have to upload them, too!
