Fill 'er Up! Ok, so I'm maybe thirty years too late for this station but it was still a fun shot. I'll admit the "old & new" juxtaposition may be a bit trite but so am I. Self Portrait Perhaps it's just because this was one of my first succesful shots taken while riding but I've always liked this pic. As the months have passed I think my affection for it is due more to the potential this pic represent than for the image itself. We'll see if I'm right. Jump Down, Turn Around.... This pic was taken on a family reunion trip to Alabama. I never was able to figure out the best way to photograph the cotton. See... If you grew up anywhere near the South you probably saw a barn or three painted with the "See Rock City" slogan. I had been looking for a suitable barn and found one on my way to Tennessee. I had also been wanting to experiment with closely cropped shots of the bike. This wasn't a bad first try but I have much to learn.
