Clive's BBQ I like bikes. I like BBQ. But what I like best are bikes & BBQ! The Dixie Diner As the song says, "Nothin' could be finer than sittin' down, eatin' at the Dixie Diner." Actually, I've never eaten there but was happy to stop for a pic one Sunday. This is more of a record shot for a future shoot. I need to return when the early morning sun is warm and hits this eastern facing side of the building. Sublinga Sublinga. I just like the way it sounds. A little dirty with just a hint of subversion. Actually, this shot, like the one before it, was just a test for a future shoot. The light wasn't satisfactory but I couldn't resist seeing what it would look like on "film" as we used to say. Bike & Trestle This is one of the shots I'm rather proud of due to how the execution came about. I noticed this location iin northwest Georgia a few months earlier while passing through on a trip but didnt bother stopping as the light was bad. I rode past it four or five other times but with similarly flat light. One day, on my way home after a long day of riding, I stopped by to evaluate the scene and was happy to see things were much better. Compositionally I could (and will) do better next time but I'm quite happy with the process leading up to this image.
