Stables Header

Stables     Walk outside the Inn, and stand on the front porch. Looking to your right, over near the forest, you see two wooden buildings, with water troughs, and bales of hay, and other neccessities for keeping horses collected next to the side of the building. This is the stables. The stables of the Sunset Moon while not one of the more high society type of places, does the job. This too was built by Katamai Arashikage, added on shortly after the Sunset's opening, to accomadate the mounts of patrons to the inn. There is usually a stablehand available at most times of the morning and day, into the early evenings, to care for the mounts residing inside. Over by the lake, is a small fenced in pasture in which the animals can graze or stretch their legs if so wished.

When staying overnight, or semi-permanently, the price of having one's mount groomed and cared for is included in the quoted price. One may, of course, tend to his or her own mount if they wish, in which case they will pay only for the supplies used to do so, as the owners are well aware that some patrons simply prefer to handle their own mounts as far as the care.

There are twenty five stalls in each building, the same number of rooms the inn has, times two, in case they recieve couples or more as guests. Walk into the doorway of the stables, and look across from you. There are ten stalls down this wall, and ten down the left side wall as wall. Stand between the two rows, and look across, and you see five more stalls along the back wall as well. Behind you is a ladder which leads up to the hale bay. The mounts within this stable are well cared for by the single stablehand that found employment here.
