The Guardians of Clan Deraktul are just that: guardians. Their primary duty is that of a bodyguard for the Clan's elders and/or members of importance. They protect and defend the higher members of the Clan. They are usually born into the position. ((I.E. They're position in the Clan is determined before birth and they are brought up, raised, and trained to take their position later in life.))

     Every Clan is different in the number of Guardians it has, just as they differ in the more intricate Clan structure, but the number of Guardians is fluid... meaning it changes, there is no set number like there is with the Temple Order. The Guardians of a Clan are held in high esteem as well, as they are born of specific House lines, and the Houses are chosen very carefully.
