Rich get rich
poor get poorer

It always rains

when the cherry clusters swell and flowers open

There's a bit of a lie

There's a bit of a lie in every truth
and a bit of the other
turn about fair play

even in the reason for what you imply
so don't be gormless, cook up a storm
and serve out rainy-day helpings
of humble pie

stuff-naked we go
unburdened of pelf
unburdened of ego
