This is a multi-generational family site, featuring poetry, stories and artwork from the early 20th century to the present.

I am ... let me quote from my blog profile; "a Canadian senior, as weird as necessary for sanity, as sane as kids and grandkids permit, and a lover of birds, green stuff, tiny beasties and oddities generally." I'm also a teller of stories and an occasional poet.

As for the rest of the family, most live in British Columbia, Canada, and we work and play in a variety of fields, from nursing to photography to science and natural history. Our interests are varied: art, travel, history, Mexico, music, birding, beachcombing, gardens. Some of us write. Some of us paint. We all read.
