On Friendship

I've met an honest, lovely lady
With intelligence disarming.

She doesn't believe in Santa Claus
But she's searching for Prince Charming.

She seeks a perfect happiness
And suffers no lesser friend.

Does she believe in immunity
From the sorrows shared by men ?

I tried but couldn't show her
How petals fill with dew.

That dew mostly evaporates
While lesser friends prove true.
