The Fiddler

Fiddle is what Nero did
While Rome slowly burned.
The mild Roman warmth was turned
To raging torrents of dread.

Control, above all, is the key
When you play with fire.
With control your heart's desire
May turn to rhythmed ecstasy.

She is what she said was done.
Fiddling fingers do their part.
Playing the fiddle is an art
And raging torrents can be fun.

Control, above all, is the key,
When it's your desire,
Unfetter first your own fire,
Then prepare to set her free.
