I spied the forbidden fruit one day
And thought it looked so fine,
And further thought with any luck,
One day I'll make it mine.
I was offered the forbidden fruit one day,
Was dared to sit and eat.
The Tree itself said to me,
"You'll find my fruit so sweet."
I tasted the forbidden fruit one day.
Its sweetness was so rare,
That paradise became Paradise -
I was grateful for the dare.
I was banished from Paradise one day,
Hell's not a fiery core.
It's tasting the fruit in Eden
And being unable to return for more.
