Easy Way to Install Fork Seals Without Using Metal Bars

After the thought of a common cheap tool to install the seal's and put the fork's back together, "I slept on it", I do my best work that way.

I jumped out of bed and went down to the junk-bin or pile. Please try to follow me here as I don't explain thing's real well.

Now, using a piece of "THIN WALL"  1 1/2" (pvc-abs?)  tubing 18" long, and 2 couplers, one long, ---2 3/4" (most Lowe's should carry), one short, 2 1/4" (Standard, found anywhere).

Glue or cement them to each end,  the long end to install the seal, and the short end to make it stronger for the rubber hammer, may have to trim 'slightly' the outer edge of the seal end.  'Different manufacturer's' but work's perfect, and either end should work.

Had I known this the other day, no way would I have ever used steel aganist my tube's, or try to make an 'Over-Kill Tool'.  This is Lighter, Better, Easier, more 'User Friendly', no scratching,  faster and easier, and cheaper to make. 15 mins. and  less than 3 buck's !!
