The Stonebender Project

The Stonebender Project, started in October 2002, is (or will be when it's further along) a listing of all the characters in Spider Robinson's stories of Callahan's Saloon and its successors. It began in Robinson's Place, the Delphi forum with which this website is associated.

These pages will grow as the project continues. Initially, some very preliminary pages are being established just to get the information posted and begin linking characters and story/novel descriptions. Design and content will undergo changes as we progress, and we're open to suggestions.

If you'd like to participate in the project, we can certainly use help in listing characters. Visit Robinson's Place on Delphi and check out The Stonebender Project thread in the Spider's Publications folder. See which stories have been spoken for by other volunteers and choose one that's free. You may choose to simply list the characters by name, or you may include a brief synopsis of the story.

Spider Robinson has written a number of other stories and books in addition to those concerned with the folks from Callahan's. For now, The Stonebender Project is concerned only with the Callahan's stories. There's a good bibliography of all Spider's works at sfsite.com.
