My ultimate dream is to have interested parties start Cyber chapters in their hometowns. The Chapter I formed is called "Alpha Wolf." It was given this name because I adore wolves and I work with canids as a biologist (foxes, mostly). If you choose to start you own chapter, name it what ever you wish (as long as it's in good taste) and feel free to contact me for guidelines, and be sure to uphold the most important premise: Knowledge for the sake of Knowledge. Please work closely with me when starting the new chapter.

If you do not want to start your own chapter, please feel free to join the Alpha Wolf Chapter and I would be more than happy to grant you membership. Having a degree does not automatically equate intellectualism, and there are hundreds of thousands of people out there that do not have degrees and are highly intelligent. Thus, the only thing I ask of you before joining the Society via the web, or participating in the forum, is to pledge to yourself that you are willing to uphold the major premise of the Society and be honest with yourself - keep an open mind and be willing to have fun! That is what the Savant Society is all about.

We are here to explore the universe and discuss it openly as intellectuals. We focus on the desire to learn and the willingness to remain teachable.

Other members will post their responses and the conversations will continue from there. As long as you keep it clean and professional, it should be an enjoyable experience!
