All facial features are embroidered with knitting worsted using french knots for eyes and nose and back stitch for mouth.

The hair is just long straight stitches and cut at the ends. I embroidered flowers on her chest and on both sides of her hair

Crochet a chain around her neck for a lai and make sure it won't come off, especially if this is for a small child.

The hula skirt is long loopy stitches back stitched to hold in place and then a decorative back stitch at the top.
