Captain Kate
All facial features are
embroidered with knitting worsted using french knots for eyes and nose and back stitch for
mouth.
Hair - with knitting
worsted yarn embroider a small loop stitch around the face and then long loop strands of
yarn around head using a
back stitch to lock the stitch and gather into a ponytail and fasten together with a tie.
The emblem is embroidered on the chest area
and the pips [4 for captains] on the collar are french knots winding the yarn around the
needle one time.
