Angel
I knitted the angel wings by making a triangle shape
and sewing securely to the back of the puppet
All facial features are embroidered with knitting worsted using
french knots for eyes and nose and back stitch for mouth.
Hair can be made by making long loopy stitches on her head and
gathering them in a bunch on each side of the head to make two ponytails.

Katherine's granddaughter Kandace wanted an angel
with an ice cream cone so, of course, grandma had to come up with one...
Roll a triangle of pink felt so that it looks like a waffle cone. Use a red pom pom - the
kind you normally use for noses on other creatures, like Rudolph or clowns - as the ice
cream. Stitch up the side of the cone and glue the ice cream into place. Tiny snaps were
sewn onto the Angel's hand and the cone, so it could be removed.
Grandma also used a glittery pipe cleaner to make a
halo for her angel [see picture]...have fun!
