Clovis First Blitzkrieg or Overkill Hypothesis

Cartoon by Mark A. McConaughy

Paul S. Martin believed that the first people to enter the New World did so circa 12,500 B.P. He proposed that they quickly swept through the Americas to the tip of South America, hunting and killing all the way. They were responsible for the demise of many Pleistocene animals according to Martin. This view has become known as the Blitzkrieg or Overkill Hypothesis. Here is my take on how they might have accomplished this task.
