2007-06-23 - Saturday Ride with Tex
Well what a day. We gathered at our same place Lowes at 8:30.
Had a visit with Tex and introduced him to the new people. Our first stop was Delcambre, La.
There he met the Shrimp Boat Sisters. The meeting went so well he invited them to stay with him while he is here.
We took a few pics around their boat Then off we went to St. Martinville La.
There they showed him the Evangline Oak and the Bayou Teche.
From St. Martinville we rode the back roads to Arnaudiville, La. for lunch at Myran's man did he love the onion rings.
Did ya'll know onion rings give him gas. We have another day planed for tomorrow so lots of pics to come..

Some Acadiana #239 couples, while in Playa del Carmen, approached the hotel staff about riding scooters.
The staff suggested that because of the dangerous traffic in Playa, we would be safer riding scooters on Cozumel Island.
What a great suggestion that was. The road was great. We visited a shore line park as well.
Because we were guests at the Iberstar Hotel in Playa, we were given free access to Cozumel Iberstar Hotel,
and allowed to eat free at the dinner buffet. The day turn out to be a wonderful experience
